Well, it finally happened.  “Chasing Pegasus (a play in ten chords)”, my first play has officially hit stores and is now available just about everywhere!

The book was originally made available via Incognita Enterprises’ online store at CreatSpace.  CLICK HERE to see this listing.

Then the ball started rolling – firstly the book appeared online for sale at Amazon.com.  We also got a pretty nice review which included the line: “… this debut work from actor/writer Sally McLean effectively draws you into each character’s world and holds you there with empathy and insight and a dash of humour.”

I was pretty chuffed about this – as you can imagine 🙂

Then the book popped up at Angust & Robertson with the following comment: “A fantastic present for any actor who is looking for contemporary monologues to add to their collection – as the play has 10 of these – all well-written and insightful”

Then Barnes & Noble.

And then Borders!!  I was probably most excited about Borders as it’s my favourite Book Store, so to know that my debut title was being stocked by them just sent my head spinning!

So I’m celebrating the book being published by having a nice dinner with my fabulous partner and then it’s onto the next one!

PS – Let me know what you think if you get a copy – and especially if you want to perform the play!
